The first PROTON 3S dealer outlet in Kluang Street Car has been a PROTON dealer for the past nine years, establishing the relationship with a 1S outlet in Johor Bharu. Street Car Sdn Bhd (Street Car), Kluang’s first PROTON 3S dealer outlet to feature the Company’s new Corporate Identity (CI) colours.
To grow the relationship with PROTON and to meet current market needs for a one-stop centre, they decided to open a new 3S outlet in Kluang’s city centre. The outlet, which cost RM3.5 million, has a built-up area of 827 square meters and is equipped with free Wi-Fi, a coffee area, customer lounge, 4 bays and 4 hoists as well as ample parking space for customers.
According to Mr. Soong Chai Huat, Managing Director of Street Car Sdn Bhd, “The decision to open a new 3S outlet in Kluang was an easy decision because we saw a lot of potential. As a dealer, I saw the positive change in how customers view PROTON since the launch of the Proton X70. Many have commented on how impressed they are with it and how the intelligent features are better than on any rival, so the Proton X70 has really put the brand back in the limelight, and I hope to able to profit from this new found attitude”.
75 new and upgraded 3S/4S outlets in operation nationwide
PROTON, in its effort to improve the ownership experience of its products, now has 75 3S/4S outlets operating nationwide. That number means the Company has increased its lead in having the most 3S/4S outlets for any automotive brand in Malaysia.
“For our business to thrive, we need sufficient 3S/4S outlets to operate. This is important as we need to make it easier for customers to visit us for their sales and service needs. From the beginning, we were very clear that customers remain as the focal point of our entire business model so every single decision carried out is to ensure optimal customer satisfaction,” said Dr. Li Chunrong.
2019 Iriz flash booking promotion and Proton deals for March
The 2019 Proton Iriz, which was recently previewed to the public, is now open for booking online. Bookings started since 1 March 2019 and requires a deposit of only RM9.99. Customers who book online will be able to enjoy 2-years of free road tax as part of the early bird promotion.
